SONAR Utils

Non-destructive 3rd party utility application intended to run on systems with current versions of Cakewalk Sonar installed.

Adds itself to the Sonar Tools Menu for quick access

Stand-alone application that runs independently of Sonar itself. However, it allows access to several Sonar features that are
currently either less convenient or actually otherwise very difficult to access.

SONAR Utils is FREEWARE.

Requires Windows 2000/XP, a 500 Mhz CPU, 256 Mb Ram, and at least 1024 x768 video resolution.

Provides a link to Microsoft System Configuration (to access various operating system settings)

Displays Sonar user, company and serial number with the ability to copy the contents to the clipboard for subsequent use.

Add/Delete/Modify Sonar's TOOL menu useful for example when you want to add your audio editor to the list and for some
reason Sonar has not picked it up automatically for you.

Access to the operating system's midi device setup allowing deletion of entries (useful to remove undesired duplicates)

Save Sonar Color setup and settings as .REG files to share with other users or just for safe keeping.
Save Sonar Toolbar settings as .REG file to share with other users or just for safe keeping.

Display Picture Cache data Allocated space, Free space, Used, and Recommended setting based on a percentage
of free space on the Picture Cache drive this value can be changed in AUD.INI PicCacheMB=nn variable and a button to
Delete/Clear the Picture Cache directory.

Simple to install and is non-obtrusive. The Sonar installation itself is not effected in any way by installing Sonar UTILS.
It simply provides several additional features that enhance your Sonar experience.
